Ordering + Shipping + Resizing + Returns
Orders can be placed directly through this website by simply adding an item to your cart and following the simple checkout steps. Almost all pieces are made-to-order upon receipt of payment. The current lead time is 6-7 weeks plus shipping, unless otherwise noted in an item's listing. In a hurry? Browse our in stock and ready-to-ship (or ready to be resized) items.
If you need a piece rush-ordered, please contact us with your specific request before placing your order. A rush can sometimes be accommodated; rush fees may apply to cover shipping fees from vendors, overtime labor, etc. Fees depend on the piece and turnaround time requested, so please be specific with your item request and exact deadline when inquiring: Link to the item, and also provide the finger size, metal color, and date needed.
Payment can be made using any major credit or debit card, or through PayPal. Follow the simple steps at checkout to complete your order. Payment is required in-full upon ordering; orders will not be started until your payment clears. For orders shipping within Maine, 5.5% sales tax will automatically be added at checkout. There is no tax on orders shipping to any other state in the US. International orders may incur local taxes and fees from your country's Customs offices. Shipping rates and carrier are determined by the total value of your order:
- $0 to $200 – USPS Priority; includes tracking; *no insurance or signature
- $201 to $499 – USPS Priority; includes insurance, tracking; signature required
- $500 to $3,499 – UPS 2-day; includes insurance, tracking; signature required
- $3,500 and up – UPS Overnight; includes insurance, tracking; signature required
All items over $200 in value require a signature and cannot be left at the door. It is your responsibility to make arrangements to sign for your package. If you work all day and have a package shipped to your home, you will have to make arrangements to be home to receive it that day. Consider shipping to your work address so you can be there to sign for it, or ship to a friend or family member who is available to sign. UPS will only attempt delivery 3 times before the package is sent back to us. If it is returned, re-shipping will be at your cost. If you know you will be out-of-town at any point, email us with your travel dates and we'll make sure not to ship during those dates. Keep in mind packages sometimes ship early, so notify Kristin of any dates you are traveling -- even early ones.
All international orders ship via FedEx Priority, which is fully insured, trackable, and typically requires a signature. Shipping cost varies by country and the total order value; please contact Kristin with your postal code and link to the item(s) for a quote on your country's rates prior to ordering. The buyer is responsible for any additional duties/taxes associated with Customs. Please check with your local Customs office to estimate what you can expect to pay in fees. Every so often a package can get held up in Customs. We are not responsible for any delays due to Customs.
Halo engagement ring styles come in an antique-inspired velvet lift-lid box with logo. Nature-inspired engagement ring styles come in a flip-top bamboo box, with laser-engraved logo on top. Wedding bands and other fine jewelry come packaged in an elegant gift box. All boxes are carefully and beautifully packed in sturdy shipper boxes for safe transit. You'll also receive care and cleaning instructions and brand information. All rings with lab-grown diamond center stones come with a diamond grading report and Everlūm certificate. All moissanite orders come with a Charles & Colvard, Iconic Moissanite, or Moissanite International certificate of authenticity.
It's crucial to determine your correct finger size before ordering. Rings can only be resized by about 1 full size in either direction, otherwise it may require a complete remaking of the ring, so it's important that you at least get close enough so you're within that safe resizing range. (Keep the 7-day return/exchange policy in mind!) Please read the Find Your Ring Size page for important tips to determine your size or someone else's size. It is your responsibility to indicate the correct size upon purchasing, so if you have any questions regarding what size to order, reach out to Kristin before ordering. If you need your ring resized, please confirm with Kristin that it is possible. Resizing starts at $75 per ring (plus any cost of additional gold needed, or resetting required), plus shipping both ways. Due to the high volume of orders, resizing takes 4 weeks to complete after we receive your ring.
Returns & Exchanges:
Our jewelry is crafted with the utmost care, using the finest materials. If you are somehow dissatisfied with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Items may be returned/exchanged with a postmark date within 7 days of receipt of item. Prior authorization is required for all returns and exchanges. Pieces must be in the same condition as when they were received, and must be in original packaging with all cards, boxes, etc. included. Item must be sent via FedEx or UPS overnight or 2-day. It must be fully insured and with a Delivery Confirmation (tracking and proof of shipping). Customer pays return shipping cost, and original shipping cost is nonrefundable. All returns, all exchanges, and all cancelled orders are subject to the restocking fees below:
